Welcome to a new, comprehensive understanding of happiness.
There’s only one way to create a real, reliable definition of happiness: listen to every one. As a result, our story is a unique, rich story — a story that must be told.
We sought simplicity, and got it
Over the ages, a massive amount of information has been accumulated on the topic of happiness. The problem? Information overload and still, no simple solution. Not even a broad standard for achieving happiness that we can all agree on.
We believe the reason why happiness is still such an elusive, hard to reach ideal is that we do not know what a soul actually is. There are philosophies out there about it, but no practical definition of soul that we can use in our daily lives.
This is where XLR8happy adds value. Years of dedication to the study of literature, religions and our own personal trial and error process to happiness eventually led to creation of our method to define what a soul is, which we have summarized in our acronym E(Soul)=MC2 — Energy(of the soul) is a mix of motivation, culture and communication. Adding this to our knowledge base of Body and Mind has resulted in our proprietary definition of long lasting happiness.
But this didn’t just happen by chance.

We looked at it from a different angle
Trained in economics and dedicated to financial analysis methods by trade, with a personal interest in the topic of happiness, XLR8happy’s founder Ana V. Davidov was naturally inclined to accumulating existing data about happiness. Thus, unlike most modern research on happiness, she had no initial theory of what could make people happy to then test that on the field. Instead, she listened to, read, and scouraged databases on what was already out around the world about happiness. All answers people gave to the question “What makes you happy” no matter their background, region of residence nor personal interests – Ana V. put into the data collection sample. Using Quantitative Text Analysis techniques, she then distilled the information collected down to its most essential categories:
1) things or activities that involved people’s dreams and aspirations;
2) things or activities that involved people’s values of beliefs;
3) things of activities that involved people sharing their thoughts, ideas and feelings, that is, making themselves heard.
4) things that involved finding peace of mind; or
5) things that involved finding physical pleasure or advancement.
Completing the Picture of Happiness
Our final aim was to have these most distilled categories be named/labelled with just one word each. This step resulted in us labeling the above categories as things to do with body, mind and motivation, culture and communication, respectively.
As financial analysts, our inclination was to put the final result into the shape of a formula that would show the variables that we had found in our research. Given that, by coincidence, aside from the patterns that specifically involved the body or the mind, the words we ended up with started with the letters M, C and C, we decided to use the most famous and memorable formula that we could think of in hopes that using it as an acronym of what makes a happy soul. We hope this would help make our definition of happiness be more memorable as well.
The result is our proprietary Soul Formula: E(Soul) = MC2 and with it, our comprehensive definition of happiness.
We are The Future of Fitness
Knowing that the body has specific parts and organs, and understanding how our minds work, makes it that much easier to determine the workouts and habits to get into to make these better. In the same way, knowing specific parts of a soul, even if they are not all the parts (only time and science will tell us those), gives us a chance to “workout” our soul, sort to speak.
This is the new frontier of fitness: Non-denominational, research-based Soul fitness. And with it: Whole Fitness.
Having the ability to pinpoint how one’s Mind, Body and Soul work completes the picture of happiness, leaving none of these important areas as blurry mysteries. This gives us all a solid understanding of what workouts we should individually focus on to get back to what matters most: having fun!

We aim to touch every one on the planet with this knowledge because a person holding the power to achieve happiness from within and, very importantly, for their own best interest, is key to making the world a happy, enjoyable place for everyone.
